a few more photos...

we really had a great time on our trip. it was so good to be together as a family. the cousins had lots of time to connect and be silly. disneyland was a big treat!! it's nice to be back home. i've got LOTS of special orders to work on...so i really hit the ground running! i have been thinking about sharing our story regarding david's birth and diagnosis. i think i'll pick a day (maybe thursdays) and blog about our experience, staring with my pregnancy --and do a chapter each thursday for a few weeks. i've been thinking about doing this for a while, but it is so personal, i've had a hard time getting started. despite the challenges and pain, david is such a blessing and the story is one of JOY! tune in tomorrow for more!

Oh I would LOVE it if you talked about your experiences with David! I know it's personal, but it would be so encouraging to hear all about it, if you can find the strength to do it. I think doing it in stages would be perfect...then you don't have to devote an obscene amount of time to it all in one shot.

I would love to read your story about David. We are learning to adjust to our Ben's special needs, and I'd love to hear what your experiences have been like.

I'll be looking forward to reading about your journey with David.

Don't you love how little boys are so free with their affection? Holding hands, hugging and kissing their aunties. Oh, the innocence of youth!

Hey Lisa, I'm so bummed we didn't see you while you were here! Looks like you had fun. Who is the little boy with Matty? Is that a cousin?

That is my friend Rachel's son. We met up in Carpinteria for lunch and playdate. The boys hit it off. They held hands and ran around and climbed trees.

Love the pics and the idea of writing David's story in chapters. Then you can print them out and make a book.
