I hope David is feeling better soon and that you can get some rest! We have to get together so I can see that boy walk!!! What an accomplishment for you all. That hard work keeps paying off. Give David a hug for me. I am so happy for you all. Love you friend.

If you can simmer some olive oil and garlic cloves, then let the oil cool off and rub it on Davids feet, covering them with socks, it will help with the congestion. My kids swear by it "momma, I'm coughing and I need garlic oil on my feet!"

I hope David feels better soon and that you both get lots of good rest. I have sick ones too and last night I couldn't get my baby settled in for what seemed like forever! (and he's not the sick one, but he's teething).

Oh Lisa I feel for you! As a mom of 4 I know how it can be to go without rest because of sick kids. I'm a teacher at SACA and friends with your sis - Chrissie. I hate to offer unsolicited advice, but I have a passion for family health and sick kids just make me sad (almost as much as mom's without rest). If your open to suggestions...I'm "old school" when it comes to keeping kids healthy and dealing with sickness. I swear by saline nose drops "little noses or ocean" to keep congestion from turning into anything UGLY. Give throughout the day. My kids HATE them, but we haven't had a sinus infection in years. Also, a steam vaporizer (with vic's vapo steam) at night to help a little one sleep better. It turns their room into a sauna, but the moist air really helps them breath through the night. Lastly, I do everything I can everyday to keep their immune systems up all the time. Mostly this means really watching sugar (a leader for depressing the immune system). Water rather than juice, etc. Again, I hate to offer advice when not asked, but I really do care about your family. I hope David feels better soon so he can cruise without congestion!!

So exiting that Davis is walking around. I hope he shakes off that bug soon so he can feel better and enjoy his mobility.
