When my husband catches that I didn't order fries and gives me all his little crispies.
very good your photos ! :)
I strongly dislike grocery shopping. Since the time we have lived together my husband has done the grocery shopping. I never asked he just did it. Love is him knowing and me not having to ask.
Hi there! Absolutely love your work.Just recently I was having one of those days and I just felt like I looked awful. My husband kept looking at me. Me being so darn crabby said "What are you looking at?" He just smiled and said "You are just sooo pretty."Those kind of comments to me are unforgettable .Lots of love from our family in the 5-cities.
When my soon-to-be 4 year old nephew says: I have one kiss left, Auntie, would you like it?
Hi there again.I left the fourth comment for you and didn't leave my name .I'm Carlyn and we live in Oceano. My e-mail is email@example.com.Have a great day! ;0))))))
Oh my gosh, what makes me feel loved is my six year old looking at me and telling me "Mom, you make everything fun". This pregnancy has made me feel like I am the least loveable person on the planet I've been so sick and for her to say that made me feel like I was the most loved person alive :)
When I return from a moment of absense, even to the bathroom, and my 23 month old daughter Finley runs up to me and hugs my legs saying "momma your home...missed you"
I feel loved when out of the blue...my two year old son Danny says Mommy guess what? and I ask what? and he shouts "I LOVE YOU" and gives me the sweetest smile. That makes me feel LOVED!
I feel loved when my husband reaches to hold my hand when we are in church.
i just had my gall bladder removed two days ago and i'm trying to recover with a 3 year old and 1 year old... and my dh is awesome. he's done everything from dinners to laundry to playing with the kids to getting up with them in the middle of the night (one is sick too) and then letting me sleep when i need to. and... he still checks in on me and makes sure i am taking my pain meds on schedule.for someone who is used to doing this for everyone else, it makes me feel so loved that he's doing this, unasked.thanks for asking :) now i need to go tell him all of what i just wrote down!!amy
Time spent together makes me feel loved. And cute texts throughout the day. And the every-so-often "call your sister - you girls go grab dinner and do some shopping. It'll be good for you." THAT really makes me ooey-gooey inside! :)
having someone there to pick me up at the airport after a long trip...
When Travis mops the floor for me... and his nightly back-scratches/head massages he lovingly gives every night!
That my husband has been taking care of me, the kids and the house, all while still trying to work full time. He's never complained. And, even though I've been mostly housebound for a couple of months now, I feel awful and I'm sure look terrible, he still told me that I'm his favorite person in the whole world. If that's not love I don't know what is.
My sweet husband lets me nap whenever I need to. ;)
Someone holding my hand (without saying a word) when I'm really afraid and trying not to show it (being strong for everyone else) makes me feel loved.
I feel loved when my almost 5 month old daughter gives me a milky smile after she is done nursing. :-)
That my husband understands that sometimes I need a little "down" time ... he takes care of the boys and even cleans up the house and the kitchen for me! :)
You know the silence between a husband and wife at night that signals that sleep is imminent? (Finished is the last minute chatting about the day). When my husband whispers "I love you" into the stillness, right before we fall asleep, I know I'm loved because his words tell me that one of the last things he's thinking about before sleep is me.
We have a little African boy living with us right now while he's in the States for some medical treatment... whenever he comes up next to me and places his teeny tiny hand in mine, I feel loved. I am a blessed wife and mother - but love from this sweet boy touches me in a different way. It's hard to explain - but my heart has been changed forever because of it.
When my 2 boys - one big (husband) and one small (6 yr old) lay beside/on me on the bed and are both hugging and kissing me at the same time! Even though I can't breathe :)I sure feel loved!By the way, I love your jewelry and your blog about you and your boys.Kayemadeofbliss@yahoo.ca
I really feel loved when my 3 year old nephew comes to my house and says, "Auntie Jessica, you are so comfortable." :)Jessica
first - I love your stuff! been a lurker for awhile.second - I feel loved when my five-year-old son curls up in my arms and kisses my face after he's spent a night at his dads. I also feel loved when my partner tucks a blanket around me to keep me warm after I've fallen asleep on the couch.
I feel loved watching my husband be a father to our son....he is amazing! I'm just so darn lucky to be his wife!
When I wake up in the morning and thank the Lord for all that he has blessed me with! I feel loved daily by Him and it overwhelms me to think just how much I am loved!:)Rita O.
I feel loved when I am dressing my special boy after his bath and he ALWAYS gives me this little special smile. Even though he can't tell me in words that he loves me his smile says it all.
My dear sweet husband spending HOURS on the computer updating my website and making it look all pretty! He is a jewel!mary
When my husband corrects me - even though it isn't welcome, I know that is REAL love! He wants what is BEST for me, not just to please me.Alesha
I love it when my husband asks me what I need help with. That is the best! I also love it when he tells me I'm beautiful!
My dear T has done many things over the 12+ years we have been married, but the sweetest thing was just this past week for my birthday. He and the kids and I were at Walt Disney World and I saw a trading pin there that I loved, but had planned on buying later. Of course when I went back the next day I couldn't find it. Without my knowledge, he checked every pin stand we passed by until he found it. Less than $10 but it was priceless. Silly story, but I love this man...homedotmade (firstname.lastname@example.org)
toooooo sweet!my love language is words of affirmation, so anything encouraging or sweet my husband says to me is so precious to me!
A husband who will fill my tank with gas so that I don't have to smell the nasty fumes...gotta love him!! :)
I work weekends to save on daycare costs during the week...there's nothing quite like the chorus of "MOMMY!!!" when I walk in the door. Makes every day the best day ever!!!
When DH goes along with our crazy, hectic schedule around here without complaints and with a smile.
When I make a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch and my oldest tells me "Thank you for the sandwich Mommy! It is the best lunch ever!"
I overheard a conversation between my Mom and my 3 year old today. My Mom: "You sure have a great Mommy!"My daughter: "I sure do!"Boy did I feel loved!
When he tells me he's the luckiest guy to have me as his wife.
When my husband tells me that my naturally-curly, sometimes unmanageable hair is beautiful...espcially when I am thinking it is a crazy mess! Those comments go straight to my heart and make me realize he loves me for exactly who I am!
When my four year old says, "mom, I love you. You is my best friend"
when my 2 year old son says "give me a kiss and hug mommy", melts my heart :-)
When my husband gives me a hug out of the blue.
I feel loved when my husband gets home from work and asks, "Were you able to get a nap today?" He's concerned for my well-being and I also think he's checking to see what my status is? :-)
I feel loved when my husband, out of the blue, says, "come sit down for a back rub." He LOVES back rubs so it means a lot to me when he gives me one.. and he does it a lot! I love your jewelry by the way!
little things that my husband notices when I don't realize that he is paying attention.
My husband comes into the house every night after a long day at work and no matter how tired he is, he always looks me in the eye, gives me a kiss, and asks, "How was your day?" It might seem like such a mundane thing but it means the world to me.Kristina
The moments when we are in a crowded room, both in different conversations, when all of a sudden we capture each others eye. The knowing sweet glance makes the butterflies fly back.
I feel the most loved when my precious nephew bypasses everyone & runs directly to me with a big hug & a kiss and then an "I love you Aunt Sissy." Melts my heart! I love your work & would love to win! Happy New Year to you & yours!Jennifer :-)
When my fiance sends me cards in the mail. Not just the 99 cent ones, but the ones I can tell that he sits there and reads, because he knows how good it makes me feel, even though he would prefer I never bought him a card to save money :)-Jaci
Each precious minute with my girls, knowing they are growing up so quickly and in a blink of an eye will be on their own - I want to remember every second of our time "together".NBender
I'm a flight attendant and when I come home from a trip and my kids RUN out of the house in their jammies to give me hugs and kisses to show me how much they missed me...it warms my heart and fills me with joy....so very sweet....
Every night while I am getting ready for bed my hubby gets under the covers and lays on my side of the bed to warm up the sheets for me. Then he makes sure to cuddle with me until I am warm enough to fall asleep. He knows I can't sleep until I am toasty warm.
I love it when I catch my husband watching our daughter & me--sitting on the couch, reading a book, playing--and he has this contented smile on his face and says "I love you, girls." The simple perfect-ness of the moment makes my heart melt.
When my 2 1/2 year old looks at me with her sweet face & says "Momma you make me happy.!"
when my 3 yr old son looks up at me with his big eyes and says, "love you mama" and kisses me. The sound is priceless. When my 6 yr old daughter leans into me and lays as close to possible to me and just "relaxes." This is a big thing for her because she doesn't relax. So at least I know she is really relaxing with me. These kinds of experiences are amazing and I never want to lose those feelings as I watch my kids get bigger and bigger. Thanks Lisa.
When my 2½ year old niece comes into my room looking for me and says, “ let’s go to the barn,” and then slips her little hand into mine. My heart just melts every time she does that. Not only do I feel loved, but feel so “rich” and blessed to have her in my life. Love your work and your blog. Hope you and your boys are doing great. P.S. you may not remember me…I ordered a necklace from you in July for my sister. She just loves it. Kristizoomzoom007@hotmail.com
My husband is currently undergoing treatment for cancer. He is pretty tired all the time. The other day he told me that if I need to wake him up to chat on nights when I can't sleep, I should. He's pretty wonderful.www.haykid.blogspot.com
Every time either I, as a deaf mom, have to say "I Love You" in sign language for both of my hearing sons when I drop them off at school, or giving them a good night kiss.My older son would always tell me, " I love you very very very (so on) much" then give me a BIG SMACK kiss.My younger son, who is autistic, has learned the difference to say between "I love you" and "I really love you" in sign language. One night when I gave him my regular routine, "ILY," then out of blue he made an effort to use it in sign language, "I really love you." It brought my tears. My two sons are not the only person I know would give me a good bye or good night kiss. If I had forgotten to give him a kiss, then he would say, "You forgot the most important thing." I just smile and give him my kiss.Deep inside of me, I know I am being loved by my immediate family. That's something I will always cherish the times I have with my family.
Oops, I meant to use the word, "my husband" would tell me, "you forgot the most important rule."
What makes me feel loved? my family of course they always make me feel loved. Even if I don't win I still would like to order this piece because my last name is Byrd. It would be perfect for me. By the way I love your work and your blog.
My husband is wonderful and gets up with our two kids every morning just to give me a few more minutes of sleep.
My husband massaging my neck and shoulders while I'm on the computer or at the sink or cooking or just doing anything - it is just another way of touching but, because it is so unexpected it becomes more intimate and that reminds me how much I am loved and how lucky I am to have such a thoughtful, kind and loving man to share my life with.
Sem, our little boy (20 months) always give hugs and kisses when he's in our bed in the morning. If he does that, I feel loved ! Today it's the first time I visit your blog. I absolutely love your work !
That "look" from my husband - short on words - long on love.
what makes me feel loved, each day when I open my eyes, I feel loved by our God that has blessed me with another day, and that I get to spend it with my husband.Karen Lamb, South Africa
The last BIG thing that made me realize how much my BF loves me was his christmas present to me.. He gave a 5-day-trip to Rome! And it's really big because he's not interested in city-trips at all, he'd rather go on a beach vacation. He's just doing it 'cause he loves me so much :) (And I'm sure he's going to enjoy the trip nevertheless)
I feel loved when I walk into the kitchen and realize my husband has cleaned it up completely and never said a word.
omg I wouldn't know where to begin really. My husband doesn't say it a lot but he shows me even more by taking care of everything in our family with me, and giving me cuddles whenever I need them, confidence and support. It's the way I always imagined a good relationship to be for 18 years I've had it and plan to keep it this way! My 2 boys, well they tell mommy everyday how much they love me and that I'm pretty and that always makes me smile and feel loved ;)
When my 3 year old daughter looks over at me and says "I do love you Mommy". Just warms me all over.
When my husband and I are standing close to each other and talking and one of the girls runs over and says "Let's have a family hug!" It is so sweet!!
Waking up on a cold morning with a fire already warming our house and a huge pile of firewood piled nicely by the back door.My husband Darren, leaves for work by 5am but will build us a fire and stack firewood by the door so I won't have to get cold walking to the real pile to get some.He braves the cold, cold morning so I/we won't have to. Such sweet thoughtfullness. I totally feel loved on those mornings!
I feel the love when my children still give me kisses goodnight and out in public for no reason. they are 16, 18 & 28. I LOVE being a Mom!!!I just found your site this morning and can't wait to see it all! kansmom
every day, my husband calls on his way home from work to see if we "need anything." he knows how much I hate going out in the winter and that's his way of letting me know he'll run our errands for us. *sigh*
When I see my mother's smile when I look at my reflection in the mirror.
I love the necklace and it would be perfect b/c our last name is Wren!I feel loved when my husband unexpectedly brings me flowers (yesterday). He ran to the grocery store (also wonderful), filled up my car with gas and then presented me with flowers!I love your work! Have a great day!
When my sixteen year old daughter covers me with a blanket and gives me a kiss on the cheek when i'm "watching" (sleeping) TV. :)
when my husband looks at me like I look cute...even though I have crazy bedhead & no make up on!
waking up to the smell of brewing coffee that my husband has gotten up to make to allow me a little more sleepy time in the morning...
My husband has been my godsend! Over the last two years I have struggled with serious health issues since the premature birth of our 4th daughter. He started getting up with the kids, feeding them, having devotions with them, all while letting me sleep in. He does all the grocery shopping and even babysits bi-weekly for me and my friends so we can fellowship together. Oh, and the loving is great too!
after 3 children, the youngest being only 6 months old,my stomach/hips have definitely seen better days. i was bemoaning the presence of my lovely stretch marks when my husband looked me in the eyes and said "i never noticed those." he meant it, too. that's love!
When my kiddos look at me for no reason and say I love you.Any acts of service - seeing my to do list and doing something on it without asking. Gifts of time - time together, time for me to get out and do something I enjoyCute necklace!
I feel loved by the tiniest smile or smirk from my husband across the room full of people.
I love it when DH calls me just for no reason at all. Just to say he'll be home soon, or that he misses me.
When I come home after a fun night out and my husband has the kids tucked in bed asleep, the dishes done and the toys put away............doesnt happen often but when it does I feel so loved!
Hi, I love your stuff.I feel loved when my husband watches me reading or breathing at night.:)
When I know I can say ANYTHING to my husband and he won't judge me. When I have the safe feeling that I get when his arms are around me. When he lets me cry and drip all over him when I am having a bad day. When he comes home with a gift certificate for me to get a massage, and the appointment is that afternoon. When he goes to the market for milk and comes home with a gossip magazine and chocolate bar for me. When he tenderly touches my stretch marks from the four boys I've given him and says "I love your war stripes, you have earned them baby". When he tells our oldest to watch the boys for awhile so we can go to the bedroom to "talk" for a bit (a great make out session always follows). When he looks at me and I can see in his eyes that HE feels like he's finally home....
When my cute husband and I are out with a group of people that I don't know very well (and he does) and he grabs my hand under the table, squeezes it, and smiles at me. And then makes sure to work something about me into the conversation. Gotta love him!
I feel Loved all the time by my wonderful husband. My favorite is when we are in the car and he kisses my hand. It's very sweet and makes me feel lucky to have him.
I am so blessed to be loved so much! These are three things that make me feel loved: my 21-month old loves playing the drums. When he walks up to me and hands me the sticks and says "mum" I tell him that he can play the drum and he will reply "mommy" meaning that he wants me to play his drum - this just melts my heart. He is also stingy with kisses but he has his moments where he'll run up to me, kiss me five or six times and then run away laughing - I feel so loved by this little boy. A third thing that makes me feel loved is when my husband lets me sleep in and then wakes me up with breakfast made for me.
Love the necklace, what talent you have!Okay, my hubby makes me feel loved in so many ways. The way he'll give me a foot massage just because, the way he always brings me home a hot cocoa (not a coffee drinker) on his break from work, the way he tells me how lucky he feels that I am his wife. We've been married for 14 years and I feel more loved now then ever before.Rachel
* random flowers for no reason* cleaning the house before I get home* snuggles* a love note* the things he says to OTHER people about me* a night out alone* a cup of tea when I'm freezing* anything unexpected or unasked for!
I am VERY pregnant and my husband still makes me feel beautiful. He brought me flowers last week and told me how much he cherished me. I can't believe how blessed I am to be married to be the love of my life.
when my three year old and five year old boys insist on sharing their Halloween loot and Easter basket goodies because "Mommy, you're a grown-up and grown-ups miss out on all the good holidays..." p.s. I never take much - well, okay, I take a little to demonstrate good faith...wouldn't want to hurt their feelings.......
I feel loved when my husband knows my thoughts without me ever saying a word..or when we both finish each other's sentences..
Surprising my husband that #3 will be arriving this August, when #2 is only 9 mos, and receiving the best reaction & huge hug even though this was not planned. When my 2.5 year old looks at me and says "Hearts mean you love Liam, Mama." When my little 9 mos old smiles at me with her little scrunched up nose! When being with my husband still reminds me of when we were 18, very young & wild together!
It has definately been the little things since our second baby has been born... my husband covering me up in his sleep (even though I have the post-baby sweats), getting up with the baby even though I have told him I would, bringing home dinner so I don't have to cook, and never once commenting that I once again did not find the time to shower today. Also, when my 2 year old, after being in time out, walks up to me, cocks his head to the side and says "Hi mommy" in the sweetest voice, never once carrying a grudge that I had him go sit down for a minute.Thank you for sharing little glimpses into your life, you have such beautiful children.
I feel loved when my daughter calls me in the night and when I go in and lay down beside her she snuggles up close and wraps her tiny little arm around my neck. So warm and cozy and full of love. Thanks for making me think!
What makes me feel loved is that my husband said that he'd watch the Anne of Green Gables series with me. It truly is those little things that make all the difference. Thank you for helping me remember that. :)
I love love love holding hands with my fiance and I love love love when he pushes the hair out of my face. That and when he brings me chocolate milk for lunch! THANK YOU THANK YOU for making me remember that its the little things that matter the most! :) Ps. You rock!
Today (Monday) is my birthday and my husbands and my anniversary (#13). I would love it! :)
baby kisses + snuggles.and my sweethearts arm around me. xxjill
Love is going to Granmma and Papa's house and they give you the good chocolate without even asking!
It makes me feel loved when my boyfriend saves the last bite of whatever he's eating for me just so i can try it.
I feel loved when my 7-year-old still needs a big hug AND kiss when I drop him off at school. (He doesn't even care that his friends are looking!)
After 15 years of marriage the best was coming home from our honeymoon (red-eye out of Honolulu). We had a really rough flight into and out of SF. We had the flight of death from SF to SLO. Thought for sure we were not going to make it. We did.I was exhausted after wedding/honeymoon/30 straight hours of travel and no sleep. I came home and fell into bed. He didn't. He warmed up the house, did the laundry, went to the market, brought home my favorite pizza from Nardonne's (no longer in business, bummer....). He woke me 5 hours later....15 years later it is still the same, through very difficult times, 4 children, and life in general he still represents Christ to me.Love from him isn't a kiss, a touch, a look - it is all of it- combined with what we have created. Now if I could only get him to be an early bird instead of a night owl!!!
He loves and accepts me when I'm the most unloveable. We lost a baby, while we were living in Haiti almost 6 years ago this month. He held me as we cried after the surgery, in a make shift hospital on cement floors, with no family or friends to comfort us. We only had eachother and our Lord. I felt loved at that moment, no running water, no bathrooms, no medication to take away the pain. Just our love. Today we remember that lost baby, who we wanted soo much, and we love our children who truely are blessings and gifts from God. He also loves unconditionally. and we are thankful for that. Hugs Amy
Just the little things, the thoughtful gestures--like washing the dishes after dinner without being asked, bringing home flowers for no reason at all, or telling me he loves me in the middle of the day. Also, the fact that he's willing to work 2 jobs so that I can stay at home with our kids. That means more than I could ever tell.
I just had foot surgery (again) and I am feeling loved by a husband who is so kind and so patient with my crankiness. He can and does do everything for me with a smile. Love that. (Love HIM!).
"Love your face!" This is always my husbands parting comment whether he's leaving for the day, or talking with me on the phone. It's something he only says to me and it always makes me smile.
LOVE IT!!I feel loved when my husband makes me coffee in the a.m. without me asking...when he sees the laundry needs done, he does it...when he comes home and finds me to greet me with a kiss hello...when he washes and cleans my car...when he works so hard with not much pay and never complains...when my kids tell me that I'm the best and that they love me! That's when I feel loved...I am truly blessed and loved!!You have a blessed day...you are wonderful for doing these things! And your jewelry is inspiring! God bless!! Kari
When my son, Eli (3yrs) says, "Mommy, you're my best friend!"
I volunteer at an emergency children's shelter where abused children are temporarily placed while they're in transition. It just MELTS my heart and makes me feel loved every time one of those little kids runs up to give me a big hug when I arrive. I am constantly amazed at how much love they have to give; particularly given their circumstances.
I feel loved when we have friends over and my husband will casually play with my hair while he's chatting away. Such a small thing but it feels great.
...when i walk back into my classroom after christmas break and the first thing i hear is "i missed you ms. natalie!"
I feel loved when my sweet baby boy giggles at my silly faces. Nothing is sweeter then his laught!
Wow - what a lot of great answers! What makes me feel loved - gosh, making sure there is still toliet paper on the tube, picking socks up after peeling them off here and there, letting me sleep in and closing the door so I can't hear the noise of the house. My children make me feel loved, their sweet faces, their silliness, their giggles.
I think I am just simply amazed at the sheer amount of comments! YOU, my dear, are loved!
When my little boys tell me I am better than Santa Claus when I run aroudn the house playing Superman with them.
I feel loved by my 8 year old who won't go to bed now without hugging me and giving me a kiss. he never used to, but I love it. and my 6 year old who has the sweetest little girl voice, when she says " i love you too mom". and by my wonderful husband who is more than i deserve..i am so blessed to be loved.
OK! How awesome is that necklace! SO cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When my 4 year old hooks his arm around my and my husband's neck and says, "let's have a family hug."
Oh Lisa, it's so cute. Love is when my husband and I look at each other, raise an eyebrow, and know what the other one is thinking.
Or when he knows I love your jewelry and custom orders me one that says "Your one true love" on it. *sigh*
Waking up in the morning and my sweet hub has put coffee by my bed.
I just fell down the stairs and broke my ankle in 3 places resulting in surgery and no using my leg for anything for 6 weeks--my hubby is working very hard to keep a smile on his face while doing the things he never thought he'd do--the best was Sunday morning when he took me to the bead show.pushed me around in my wheelchair and then finished up my little outing with a stop by JoAnns He NEVER has anything to do with my art life and I know how hard this was for him--guess he loves me after all!Bliss Happens!brenda bliss
Super simple...just a hug!(Love the new design!)
when my husband takes the baby monitor during the night and gets up with the kids. sleeping in is a little piece of heaven.
I feel loved when my kids (ages 6 and almost 9!!) fight for time sitting on my lap! I dread the day when they stop doing that!I also feel loved when after a long day my husband says "come here, let me rub your shoulders."Violetpurpleflowergrl@hotmail.com
When my five year old comes up to me for no reason at all and gives me a big hug and says "Mommy I love you and you are the best mommy ever!" He always seems to know just when I need one of those hugs!
pillow-fights, tickle attacks, when he gets up with the kids in the morning to make pancakes. When he flirts with me during the church service (... maybe we need go on more dates) and last when not least... when he calls me on the way home to see if I want donuts from my favorite donut shop in Nipomo.
Michael and -saturday a.m. waffles, ironing my clothes when i am running late, washing dinner dishes, prayers and quality time with the kids at bedtime, surprise ben & jerry's while snuggling on the couch, kisses on my forehead with the words "i'm so glad your my wife"
I feel loved when:my husband works hard all day but does the dishes morning and night, when he'll barbque for me when there's a blizzard outside, when I find love notes all over the house after he's gone on a business trip, when I slip into bed and we hold hands all night long.I feel LOVED!Thanks Lisa for your beautiful jewelry.
In the middle of the night, the silhouette of my husband sitting off the edge of the bed, holding our infant son, soothing him so as to not wake me, head tilted as he gazes down at him.
Encouraging words makes me feel loved. I also need to recognize that I need to make an effort to speak other people's love languages, so they feel loved, too. :)
When I am having a mommy melt-down and my four year old comes to me with open arms and comforts me. I know then that SHE feels comforted by my open arms when she has her (much more regular) four year old melt downs. The circle of love goes 'round :)
I have such a great husband, I always feel loved. Quiet moments reading the newspaper together, holding hands going for a walk, when he brings me coffee in bed in the morning, cooking his not-so-gourmet meals for me...the list goes on and on. I'm very lucky.
When my boyfriend out of the blue tells me that "I think I'd prefer to have a live band at our wedding." or "When we get a house, we should get a nice big comfy couch." I know these might not sound overly romantic to other people but to me it's a clear indicator that he loves me because he's thinking of the future in terms of us and not just him. Which to me says volumes more than a simple "I love you."
The best thing for me, is to see my husband as a father! I have never ONCE had to ask him to "babysit" because he knows they are HIS kids and he is always willing to give me a break to have some "me" time and get some relaxation! I know he wants me to be happy and that always makes me happy knowing how much he loves me! Our theme..........."A happy wife is a happy life, and a happy husband makes a happy wife." ;)Jamie
Oh my, so many things make me feel loved, but here are just a couple. :)*when my oldest daughter (2 years old) says "mommy I lub you." There is nothing better than having her say that in her cute litle voice.*When my husband gets home from work the first thing he does is ask "How are my girls doing?" and then gives me and my two daughters a kiss on the forhead. We all look forward to that when he returns home. :)P.S. you make such beautiful necklaces! God has given you such a wonderful talent. :)Have a great day!
When my husband says every (weekday) morning that he wishes it was Saturday so we could stay in bed and cuddle. Although, this makes it really hard to get to work on time!
What makes me feel loved is when my 4-year old tells me that I am the most snuggly mommy in the world and that he loves me more than all the stars in the sky.
Sometimes my daughter will show me stuff she's written in her journal after spending the day with me running errands or doing something special. I feel so loved when she writes, "I had a great day with mom!" Peace and blessings and Happy New Year!!
my kids make me feel loved. Devlin Finn and Malley (6 years, 2 years, 7 months) They cheer for me when I come through the door weather its been 10 minutes to check the mail or 3 hours. -greta ott
when my emotions are complicated and messy and spilled out all over and my husband just holds me and tells me, "through thick and thin babe." (one time we were going through a "thing" and instead of saying 'for better or for worse' he said, 'through thick and thin' and it just stuck. i guess its our way of saying no matter what i'll always love you.) *sigh*
HI!I feel loved when my husband does those everyday chores that I never seem to get get round to: cleaning my car, cleaning the cooker, backing up the hard drive on the PC, finding the best deal on insurance etc. I just know he's looking out for me, looking out for us.Jo email@example.com
Listening. No judgment. No fixing. Just listening!

As my husband pulled out of the driveway tonight, to start a new job tomorrow in another city, I felt very sad (as my son and I are staying here to sell our house...soon we hope), but I also feel sooooo LOVED for his dedication and hard work this last year in a new career, to make a better future for our family.
how cute is that!
It always makes me feel loved when I'm laying on the couch and my husband comes over to sit with me and brushes my hair, rubs my back, or rubs my feet. It's that extra love he shows by the little things that make me feel loved.
I feel loved when my 9 year old daughter gives me a foot and leg massage...yummy smelling lotion included, and when my husband helps me with lunches for the next day so that I can sleep in.Lisa you are awesome and an incredible inspiration to all!!
onw of the most precious memories of my husbands love for myself and our children occurred when my then 16 year old son had a bad reaction to a prescription medication. I recieved a call from the school that Eli was apparently having a "strong" reaction to a prescription painkiller and that I should go get him and let him sleep it off at home. I called my husband to let him know what was going on, he offered to leave work and get our son. I told him no, I was off work and would take care of everything. When I got to school the nurse had decided that maybe things were more serious than she had originally thought and recommended taking him to our pediatrician to be checked out. When I arrived at the doctor's office, my son was unconcious (!) and I could not get him out of the car. I ran to get a nurse and a wheelchair so that we could get him inside the building. The office didn't own any wheel chairs. They said most kids either were carried in, or owned their own wheelchair already. Several nurses and I went out to attempt to get my son out of the car and into the building. My son at this point was already over 6' tall, and was much bigger than any one of us there. So one of the nurses went to grab the doctors to come help us and I continued tostruggle to get my baby out of the car. I had his upper body in my arms and was dragging him out of the vehicle when a voice behind me said "I got him." I watched in amazment as my husband scooped my son up into his arms and carried him up a flight of stairs as if he were still a little baby,on the way meeting the doctor running out to help us. My husband said he had felt like he should go to meet us at the doctors office, and when he got there he saw us struggling so hard. My son was transported by ambulance to the hospital and was eventually fine, but everytime I think of this horrible time I am overcome with emotion, and especially with love for my husband, who followed God's promptings to take off work and go to the doctors office and was there when I needed him so very much. Sorry for writing a book.
Knowing that I can find love in so many places, is, in itself, one of the greatest ways to feel loved. At the top of that list is knowing you have friends who would give the world to you if they could, friends who are there for you in thick and thin. And, best of all, friends who make you dinner when the world turned it's back on you! I don't think a person could survive without love from friends like that!
I feel loved when my husband opens the car door for me--everytime.Thanks!Lisa
What makes me feel loved? Looking into the heart of my grandson through his beautiful eyes, I feel the love of all the ages flowing through me. When he smiles back up at me, I know there is nothing more I need in this world, or the next.Cynthia Mueller
hugs for no reason
When my sweet little boy wraps his arms around me and gives me a big slobber kiss. I love that, it makes me feel like the most important person in the entire world. I guess at that moment, I am- to him!Plus, I love your work, it is very adorable and unique!
The sound (not a pitter patter but more of a thump thump) of my childrens feet running down the hallway on our way into our room...did I add very early in the morning??
i love your jewelry, i just saw a piece on mommy doodles and it is fantastic too! i may complain about my husband a lot, but i am always grateful when he gets up quickly and says 'shhh, don't wake mommy" when a little person comes in our room way too early in the morning!
When my 11 year old son tells me I'm the best mom in the world!
I feel loved when my husband remember by picante sauce when he brings home McD's french fries. I feel loved when I get home from work and the dogs run out to greet me. I feel loved when the children I teach at church color me pictures and give me tight hugs. But most of all I feel loved whenever I think about all the Christ has done for me. How could I not?
I'm sorry about all of the misspellings. I guess I was too excited about being feeling loved!
I love your jewelry and am going to pass it along to other people.
When i come home to a clean clean house and I can relax
It makes me feel loved when my little guys look up at me with that innocent look children have only for their mamas.- Jennifer
I feel loved every time I meet an acquaintance of my husband's for the first time and they say- "I feel like I already know you because he talks about you so much". I never tire of hearing that.
not complaining that dinner isn't ready yet, then dishes are being loaded into the dishwasher, the vacuum is being ran and I am allowed to fall asleep next to my little guy who just struggles to fall asleep/stay asleep after he and i have had a long day of therapy, struggling, chaos control, screaming and cleaning up
When my husband goes on a tampon/pad run for me. Half the time he comes back with depends(don't have a bladder control problem dear) I think he should get points for effort.:)
I feel loved when I am holding my 3 year old niece and she is falling asleep and whispers "I love you" when I thought she was already asleep.
When I came home after five days at a photography conference to a clean house and my hubby said that he now appreciates all that I do every day and he is going to help me more! Plus my kids all missed me!
wow...just found your site from a link at ali edwards' blog, and i love your work. what makes me feel loved? someone coming alongside me when i'm feeling stressed and helping me get to a different place. my husband's usually the best one at this...that's why we're lovebirds!
Hugs-- simple contact with someone else can make me smile or cry after a hard day.
I feel loved when--during an argument--my husband is willing to say, "I'm sorry," first.
when my husband draws me a bath and pours me a glass of wine after a crazy day...
I feel loved when my husband gets into his car and drives on the WORST freeways in Los Angeles to go to work so that he can provide for me and our kids.
Oh my, what a sweet necklace! I feel loved when my 21 mth old son grabs me around the neck and pulls me in for a big sloppy kiss.I feel loved when my wonderful hubby is unbelievably patient with me when I'm tired and grumpy. And for the little things - he takes out the garbage because he knows I hate doing it. He always deals with the mice caught in traps or spiders that need squishing. When, after he has been at work all day, he comes home and pours me a drink and tells me to put my feet up and rest for a bit.
an unexpected gesture that warms my heart.
We have four tiny, little girls so I feel loved pretty much 24/7. I'm also lucky enough to be married to an amazing guy who always appreciates the work that goes into taking care of four tiny, little girls all day.
hope it's not too late to leave a comment! :)I feel loved when my husband takes my glasses off my face when I've fallen asleep with them on. I think of it every morning when I see them sitting neatly on the nightstand.
Tommy will leave me TWO clean towels on the bathroom sink. He's noticed that I use one for my hair and one for my body.
i feel loved when i can be vulnerable and honest about my heart and feeling and still have my husband be excited about me. he is always willing to listen to me and encourage me through my struggles. he's a good man.
seeing the joy of discovery in the eyes of our children. to my husband and i, they are constant reminders of how much God must love us.
I feel loved when I come home or Im having a bad day and my, lab mix, Sammy, comes to greet me and covers me in kisses. I have no significant other and no children. So he is the one I know who will be there for me unconditionally. And when I have to vent he won't interrupt and just listens or rather allows me to let it all out uninterrupted.
I have a couple of things that make me feel loved...the first one is when one of my children wraps their arms around me and says, "I love you, Mommy...you're the best Mommy ever!" Believe it or not those moments come at very random times...not when I've done something 'great' for them...The second thing is watching my husband with our children...I really believe that our relationship is reflected in how sweet he is with them (especially the girls)...he's actually on a date with our ten-year old tonight...he wants them to have a marital relationship like ours someday & he's teaching them how to choose godly mates!
I LOVE your work. I would love to order from you in the near future. :D Thanks for the contest
Hi Lisa, Just wanted to say that the necklace for my Mom arrived on the second-last day before Christmas. I couldn't believe it! We were so happy! And my Mom LOVES the necklace. So thanks a million and happy New Year to you and your family. Heidi
My husband and I always find our seats in a movie theater first, and then he runs out for the popcorn and soda. When he comes back in the theater he'll pretend to look for me. He'll stand at the front of the theater scanning the audience until I frantically wave my arms alerting him to my location. And no small wave will do; it must be huge and dramatic.I know it seems cheesy, but this makes me feel loved. Just being silly together. In public. In front of strangers.
I feel loved when I can be with someone and nothing needs to be said. When I can be comfortable with the silence and not keep thinking, "I should do this or I should do that"When I can be myself and not feel I have to prove myself - I can cry and it is okay, I can play and it is okay, I can leave the dishes undone and the bed unmade and it is okay. I feel loved when his actions match his words and when they don't we can say what we need to say and we can move on. I feel love when I can stand naked both literally and figuratively and not be afraid to let him know me.
when the person I love hears every word I say in a crowded lunch room
Wow, love and accepted unconditionally and comfortable in your own skin....yes
that was me about the unconditional love....thanks for the blog NormaLove, E
A note given to me by my 10-year old daughter this week:Dear Mommy,Here are 3 reasons I love you:1. You take care of us.2. You love us very much.3. You are the best Mom ever....this is pure bliss, I tell ya!
at the end of a long day my little one says..."mama, will you cuddle me?"
what makes me feel loved - is having my boys (who are deployed) calling me as often as possible - or emailing me just to say I LOVE YOU MOM...makes me know that I did good raising them - and fills my heart beyond measure!!Peace--Ellie
My husband & I have really struggled over the past few years, and I've found myself feeling so lonely and "missing" him so much. I feel most loved when we snuggle up together and I fall asleep with his arms around me or his hand on my face. There's no safer place in the world to me. I really love him....
I am dying of cuteness! Love your work. My husband and were both laid up in bed for two weeks together. He was healing from a shattered elbow and I was on IVs while I was pregnant. Looking back, it was really special time, we had a chance to talk and not be rushing from place to place. We learned a lot about each other!
hubby lets my hog the covers at night because I'm always so cold. He never complains, because he loves me.
There's a verse in the bible in the book of Song of Soloman that says, "you are a lily among brambles" and so my husband took that verse and made me a flower arrangement with a bunch of twigs he collected from our neighborhood and planted a calla lilly in the center of these twigs in a vase and wrote "you are my lilly among brambles". MIND YOU... my husband is an accountant... not the creative-artsy-fartsy type :O) but he really wanted in grow in romancing me (because of something I shared with him)... needless to say, I felt so loved... that he listened to me and went out of his comfort-zone and made the untangible tangible. SIGH* what a great guy. We've been married for almost 5 years and have 2 little boys.
