About $23

Matty needed a haircut so, so badly! I had an appointment for tomorrow but they had to cancel it because of a conflict. I figured it couldn't look any worse, so I went to town. I snipped and trimmed. I combed and compared each side. I layered with abandon. I acted like I knew just what I was doing. And guess what, it is a definite improvement! It actually looks pretty cute. The haircut was going to be $19.50, plus tip brings us to $23. Hmmm, now what should I do with that money...

Looks great, Lisa! :)

I give all three of our boys their haircuts. Saves LOTS of money!

Have a great Sunday!

Hi Lisa!

I'm new to the blog experience, and I find yours quite heartwarming.

Indisputably, your photos all have a consistent "undertone" color that distinguishes them from regular internet photos. Is this a photo-software technique, or a special lense?

Hope my question isn't too brash. You have a nice looking family, btw.

We do our own boy cuts around here too! Splurge on something for yourself with the extra $$!

Matty, your new haircut looks super good!

Our older two have their hair cut by a professional who knows what she is doing. I still do Ben's because he is so little. His hair grows really fast for such a little guy.

I cut Kyle's hair. Although, buzz cuts are much easier than what you did. I am super impressed! it looks great!

Remember when we used to cut eachother's hair in high school? We seriously had NO idea WHAT we were doing. I'm so sorry I made you walk around with hair that was three inches longer on one side. Maybe it was the dull scissors or the fact that I'm impatient and NOT detail-oriented. Thank goodness for our curls which cover a multitude of sins.
Love you soo! Can't wait for our next visit.

wow, well done you! I will never post pictures of the haircuts I do on all three of my men....it's very bad, very bad. scissors should be removed from my hands!

Good Job! How about taking the boys to Wal-Mart or other store for a picture? It isn't expensive, but the memory lasts.

Or you can use the remaining money for the boys to decorate their Valentine's gifts for their teachers.

My inner hair stylist comes out every month when I cut my son's hair! He prefers me over going to a professional because I understand his hair and I don't cut it real short. I figure boys should enjoy the beautiful hair they have before they don't have it anymore!! ;)
