david

i snapped this picture when david was about 3 months old. i thought it would be so cute to have him in the bucket, but as soon as i put him inside, he fell right to sleep. guess it was a cozy bucket!!

we've started to get in a groove with his classroom. his teacher is great. he has a 1:1 aide with him all the time now and she is getting to know his ins and outs. i am trying to be a patient, rational mommy to keep from falling to pieces. he is just so dang small, i worry about him. i should definitely say that david is loving school and is always happy to be there.

i'll be doing some work on my blog in the next couple days, stayed tuned for some fun changes!

What an adorable little photo! Letting go for the school thing is hard especially when you have a child with special needs. Hang in there -- it's great that he loves it!

I love that pic. It's amazing how tiny he was.
You are such a good mommy. And God gave you the role of his protector. So if you need to freak out or fall to pieces, go right ahead.
I love you time infinity!

I LOVE that picture!!! How sweet!!! I am so glad David loves school...that makes me happy for him!!! I don't think patient and rational are in the job description of "mommy" so don't worry about those things!!!

I love the photo of David! What a sweet sight to see. As a parent, it's hard enough when you worry about leaving your kids at school and I'm sure it's that much harder for you with David. The best part about your worry is that David doesn't see it and is enjoying himself at school. :)

What a cute photo. I'm glad school is going well. It must be really hard to be patient with that process. I used to be a 1:1 aide and I remember learning all of those ins and outs. You sound like an amazing mom to me, David is a blessed little boy.

I love your stuff! I have a blog dedicated to cancer awareness www.cancerlost.blogspot.com I did a post that had tons of great gift ideas for cancer fighters. It was a hit so I did a second one and actually have an entire area with links to websites that have good cancer fighter gifts. I think your stuff would be perfect. I have a necklace that says survivor with a ribbon, I love it! Do you have anything that like that? I know a lot of us have a hard time finding jewelry that doesn't have the pink breast cancer ribbon. If you have anything neutral could you let me know so that I could include it on my site!

Thanks so much

What a fantastic photo! I am a mother to a 3 1/2 year old that has "failure to thrive" due to multiple food allergies. She wears 18 month size clothes and has been going to daycare since she was 16 months old. When she started she could barely sit up on her own, she could not crawl, pull-up or even walk...at 16 months. Well, you should see her now! Due to her size she was always in the classes with younger children. They matched her up with size and development. She is now in the Preschool 1 class, with kids her own age, and I am a nervous wreck. Those kids are so big! If you hang in there, so will I! Sorry to be so wordy! Your doing a great job! You are NOT alone!

Warmly,
Leslie G.
