stolen time.

I got away for a quick overnighter and some time with my sisters.  Wait, didn't she just go out of town (you might ask?)  Yes, but this was a spur-of-the-moment, let's make it happen trip.  And being unexpected made it that much more precious!

Friday night I had dinner with Sue and Ellen.  Enriques--flautas & chocolate bread pudding, time to talk, tears, laughter.  It was sooo good.

Then down to the OC for a few hours with Chris.  Ahhh, loved every minute of it.

The drive down and back meant time alone, to think and sing and pray and dream.

So good to see my boys again and tuck them in tonight.  Now, to catch up on email (and maybe laundry!)

Looks like fun. Where did you have the photo shoot done. It looks beautiful, as do you and Chrissie. The kids and I made your little pies today. Lot's of fun and very tasty. I think those would be fun to make when the family comes over - a little dessert bar that the kids can share with their family. They would enjoy "hosting" the dessert.

Wow, what the pictures are beautiful. I especially like the pictures of you and Chrissie. It made me wonder where did you have the photo shoot done if it was done in Orange County. I grew up in Orange County before moving to San Diego.

Nice job, Lisa!

We were at a women's conference at Rancho Capistrano in San Juan Capistrano. The grounds are amazing. They do a lot of weddings there.

I agree with the other posts that your photos are just beautiful!

Thank you for suggesting the picnik site - you are a Master (Mistress?) of using their tools!

I tried a couple of things but couldn't get a border on the top and bottom and not on the sides like you did of your boys in the previous post - did you do that effect on the picnik site?

The top and bottom border that your are seeing is under 'effects' and its called cinemascope. Also, you can keep adding frames (under create) to make the frame very thick or different colors. See 'find joy pic' in my last post.

Lisa, Thank You so much for taking the time to explain to me how to do the borders that I asked about in the above comment! I do appreciate that and have now figured it out.
