romance me...

let me sleep in
pour me coffee
stick a note on the bathroom mirror
kiss me goodbye
call me from work
come home a little early
change a poopie diaper
compliment my dinner (even if it's takeout)
cuddle me on the couch
kiss me goodnight

what sweeps you off your feet?!

Oh I miss my Grammy. I used to spend every summer with her. I'd get off the bus on the last day of school, pack a bag and my Mom would drive me 45 minutes to her house. She showed me the love of the library and laying on her sun porch reading books.

Thanks for taking me down memory road...

Oops, this should have been under your Grammy post.

Sorry!

Nothing is more romantic to me than when my husband knows what I need, and takes care of that need without me having to ask him for it.

That's about my list exactly! Add "hair mojo" and bringing home flowers every once in a while - cliche, I know, but I love them. Just a bunch of daisies from Publix and I'm a happy girl.

Oh, everything already listed is good. Makes me melt to just think about it all.
- sweet nothings in Spanish on a Post-it note
- a warm hand on the back of my neck when you know I'm tired
- be sad and disappointed with me
- drag me outside for a good, long walk to watch the colors of a sunset
- call me precious
- tell me how you love to make me smile

sigh.

when I came home from work stressed thinking Jeff had been at work all day too, when instead he had been home scrubbing the house top to bottom. What a great gift.

I feel loved when my husband gets up with the baby on the weekends and feeds and entertains him in the living room so I can sleep. We both work full time and our weekend sleep is sacred. Knowing he is sacrificing his much needed weekend sleep in for me makes me feel like the luckiest wife in the world.

Everyone has fabulous lists! Sounds like we're a bunch of lucky girls!

I've had a hard year between my own personal hardships and those of friends and family I hold dear. My husband shows his love silently, with a hug that doesn't end until I choose to break free. He wipes away my tears and holds me close. His devotion is endless.

I love when I can come home an just do nothing, if I don't want to. No homework, no cooking... It's nice to have someone looking over me for a change :)

We've really been struggling lately, and I've felt so lonely & "missed" my husband so much. What makes me feel most loved these days is when I catch a little glimpse of how things used to be & we fall asleep together with his hand on my cheek. I love him.

My husband and I have been married for 14 years and dating for 18. We are still in love and truely love each other deeply. We have a daughter (8 years) named Grayson that we love so very much and we have a new baby girl ...Holland (13 weeks)that we are over the moon for. I consider the entire family "love birds"...we even have a sort of bird theme in our living room because of it. Greg and I have had many good times and some hard times in our 18 years together, but we feel that we are good examples for our children on how to love and be loved.
