Okay here's my favorite EASY recipe. It's definitely a favorite from my childhood. It might sound wierd, but give it a chance!
Savory Cranberry Chicken
In a bowl mix together--One can WHOLE cranberry sauce, one packet Lipton onion soup mix and, one bottle of french dressing.
Pour over 8-10 frozen chicken tenders. (i put olive oil in the bottom of my baking dish to keep the chicken tender). Bake until cooked through (about 30-40 minutes. Serve with rice, salad and rolls.
Also a great crock pot dish!!
Leave us comment and tell us your favorite easy recipe!

I can testify that this cranberry chicken recipe is AMAZING! Love it with white rice. Everytime I make it people think it is soooo good (except for Greg, but what does he like?)
Were there any buttons nearby when he tried it? For those of you who don't know Greg--he doesn't like buttons :)
Yes, cranberry chicken is good. We should start a spin-off blog for easy recipes that taste hard. BBQ pork, Yoshida's tritip...
i totally want to try this one. thanks for posting a recipe. i get in such rutts (sp?), and i totally want easy recipes.
Thank You! What a good sport. I'm shameless, I know. BUT, I think it's only fair to have you over to try the recipe. (At least we know it's something you like if I make it correctly.) And Brianna, you come on over too now that I know you share my dinner anxiety :)
I'm there Erika! Glad to know I'm not the only nervous chef out there!
Lisa and Chrissy,
The cranberry chicken recipe reminds me of our old recipe club days. I've made that dish many times since. I always looked forward to our meetings at Starbucks. Love to you both!
Kevin and I really enjoy Thai food (any ethnic food really.) Trader Joe's carries a few different types of Thai sauce--green curry, yellow curry, and red curry. I just stir-fry cut up raw chicken breast and broccoli, then add a jar of sauce and simmer it awhile. I serve it over white rice. Such an easy, flavorful meal!!! (I'm going to try that chicken recipe!)
Brianna--thanks for that easy thai recipe. I'm going to try that! Here's one for you. Yoshida's gourmet sauce (sold in the BBQ aisle) and a tritip roast. Put about the roast and about an inch of Yoshida's in the crockpot. Yum!
pulled pork sandwiches: crock pot meal, get 2 pork tenderloins (i get mine at costco), and one bottle bbq sauce (try not to go too sweet, it can be overpowering). put meat and sauce in pot in the morning and cook on low until dinner time. the pork with just fall apart. scoop onto french rolls. easy peasy!
I love all the recipes!
I know Pot Pie might be a little too "home cooking" for many, but the whole recipe is made from a can and a frozen pie crust, so we like it.
Combine in bowl...
2 cans mixed veggies(I use Veg All brand)
1 can cooked chicken
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Fit one half of a store bought frozen pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan (most come with this already)
Pour vegetable mixture into pie crust.
Top with remaining half of pie crust, and crimp edges to seal. Prick top with a fork.(This is easier to do when the pie has been in oven for just a little bit of time and the crust is softer.)
Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or so.
Lindsey, want to come over for pulled pork sandwiches?
totally bummed that those first fillagree earrings got snatched up. If they hadn't I would have been all over them! oh well, maybe next time...
Ellen that sounds yummy! I'm going to try that next time I get to the store!
Lindsey, I LOVE pulled pork sandwiches. (Anything you can make in a crockpot is so nice and convenient! And Erika, I really like homemade potpies. Where in the store is canned cooked chicken?)
I've got a slightly different version of this recipe. Instead of French dressing, try it with a bottle of Russian dressing. It's really good! I'm no cook and had someone tell me it tasted gourmet! We call it "Russian Chicken".
June Bowlin - Who just wanted to thank Lisa for the awesome Mother's Day necklace she made for my mom but decided she had to offer her russian chicken recipe too!
I really like the idea of creating a joint blog that we can post recipes on. I also love easy dinners that taste restraunt quality. I have some recipes I'd like to share.
June, that version sounds yummy, I'll have to try it! So glad you liked the necklace!!
