i decided to make this necklace mine. my sister-in-law asked me why this phrase was meaningful to me. in short, i don't want to be stifled by fear, or hung up by grief or discontentment. i want to live fully and let my life be marked by joy, tears, laughter, pain and being present in each moment. Some days that seems easy and some days it is just so hard!

Tomorrow I am planning to do a post answering questions about me, my family, jewelry or my hair (I've been getting a lot of email about my hair LOL!). If you have a question, leave a comment and I'll do my best to answer it.

Not quite sure how I stumbled upon your blog, but it was worth every skip & jump!!
Your jewelry is beautiful.
Your life motto radiates through your photos, your writing, & your work.
I will continue to read & am blessed for having "stopped by"...
God Bless you this day - Lindsay

I love reading your blog you are a great writer & photographer and I want to thank you for sharing your life on your blog, it was a great bonus as I came here to check out your jewelry !
No question really just a request, I've seen so much lovely jewelry in your previous posts (& last year) I would love to see it all in one place. Will you be setting up an e-shop or etsy in the future ?
I came across your blog and have enjoyed reading your posts. Beautiful jewelry and family. Such a peaceful blog, I love it.
I absolutely love your photos. I know you mentioned the camera you're using, but may I ask what setting you use?
I'll continue to stop by.
Looking forward to learning more in your post tomorrow! [it's true, you have fabulous hair!]
I think it is a great little saying! Love your blog - I found it from Ali Edwards' blog. Love your jewelry and your outlook on life. I have curly hair also - but I straighten it unless it is summer and then I let the humidity take over.

I've got a question about jewelry. If you could answer it I'd appreciate it. I want to make my dds necklaces using scrabble pieces with a hole drilled in it. Now I want to attach a small round thingy (yup, thingy) in the hole so I can put a necklace through it and the piece will sit flat on their neck. What are those pieces called and how do I place them in the hole? :)
I love your blog...a couple of questions..
1. How do you process your photos?
2. what photo software do you use?
3. where do you come up with such wonderful thoughts sayings that are on your jewelry pieces?
4. what's your daily skincare regimen?..you have the most beautiful skin
So where does your artistic talent come from? Mom or Dad perhaps?
Hi Lisa, last week you told us how you pretty up your photo's I've been playing around and I'm getting the hang of it, here's another quetion, how do you get the writing at the bottom of your photo's - which font do you use.
Thank you for sharing.
I also want to know about how you are editing your photos now with the borders and the writing on them. I love that added touch - it is so fun!
Love the motto. Words to live by.
have you lost more weight? i can really see your collar bones in the picture--you look great either way. how do you get your hair so full? ;)
I think I'll print that out and hang it on my bathroom mirror so I can look at it in the morning while I brush my teeth.
I am trying to live in the moment. To pay attention. To appreciate...the little things.
My question:
What book are you reading or do you reccomend?
As I mentioned when you posted this...it means soooo much more to me (the phrase) than before...I totally agree with you...I may have to order this one before Valentines Day!!
Well I was an instant fan of your blog from my first visit to your wonderful blog. I heard of you through a photographer back in my hometown of Toledo (now i live in FL.) Funny how word of mouth spreads~ far & wide! Though I can see you are very popular and hope you enjoy much success with your craft, my big worry is that you will get too popular and you won't have time to keep connecting so personally with us- your customers and blog pals. (geeze, i sound like a nerd...)I have 2 pieces of your jewelry and LOVe them and want to order many more! (hello-budget?) I especially enjoy the creative ways you post your pics. Thank you for sharing those tips! I am also wondering how you changed your font and header. I use blogspot and it is somewhat limited. I always appreciate tricks and tips where my blog and photos are concerned. BTW-luv the family pics! You guys are so sweet! Thanks for sharing :)
God Bless,
Cindy
Well, since i'm the one who posted the question about david yesterday, i'd love to hear more about him. :) Do you ever post videos? It would be so fun to see a video of him walking or he and matty interacting. Just a thought!
I know that with CdLS the level of mental retardation can range from mild to severe. What level would you say, is sweet David at?
How on earth can I be as cool as you? Do you think I can ever reach your heights of awesomeness? Any insight would be helpful!
:)
Love ya!
We love David's coat! Where'd you get it? Did you have to modify the left sleeve any?
love the hair... so i'm excited to see the new post!!
bless you and your family.
Hi Lisa,
I happened upon your blog through my daughters blog, Freckled Nest. She just recieved one of your necklaces from your jewelery line, given to her by some very special friends while going through a rough time in her life. I also love your jewelery very much and suggested to her that I would love one for some special occasion.(Hint, hint LA)
You seem so happy and content with what life deals you Lisa, I love your blog. I also love your hair, I also have very curly/wavy hair, a bit longer than yours. What do you do and use in your hair to keep it so full like the picture on the airplane. Some days I just have to take my hair the way it goes, good or bad. Thanks Lisa, I'll continue to read your blog daily, keep up the great writing.
Sharon
YES! I do have a question! I think we have very similar hair (only mine is red and a bit past my shoulders dry). Can you give me a run-down on your products/routine?? Yours looks great!
Also, I'm in love with your jewelry. I keep showing my husband your site - one of these days I'll be wearing one of your great pieces! :) Thanks!
Just a quick question..Who was the lucky gal or guy who won the last necklace give-away about "how you love someone and show it?" :)
One more thing...My Spencer is two and just beginning to stand and cruise furniture. How old is David? He gives me hope that our tiny (he is only 23 pounds) will be off and running like him too! Also, were there any tricks you used to get him walking?
I don't really have a question for you but I just wanted to take a minute to say how much I enjoy your blog! I have one of your necklaces and gave my sister a pair of your earrings and LOVE all of your stuff! Looking forward to hearing the answers to all the hair questions as I too have curly hair and am always looking for advice and ideas!
I've been reading your blog for a while now, but this is the first time I'm leaving a comment. I love how positive you are and how you celebrate the little things in life.
My question: May I add your blog to my blogroll? :)
Hi Lisa! I was wondering how you advertised for your business. I just started a small card & gift business and having trouble knowing where to start. It seems that you have a pretty good idea! Thanks for sharing!

I, too, am blessed by your posts and jewelry. How did you get into making jewelry and what would you recommend for someone interested in getting started?
