crop
i've been having fun playing with photos--cropping and adjusting the color. i really know nothing about photography except what i learned in my high school photo class and from an ex-boyfriend who took photos. but i have fun playing. we have an awesome camera that just can't take a bad photo--especially in daylight. and we use iphoto on our mac.
tomorrow is monday so its back to the grind. actually its kinda of funny because when you work full time you really appreciate fridays--finally a break! i've heard it said that when you retire, you feel like everyday is friday. so when your a mommy with little ones is everyday monday?! not that i'm complaining! it's a great job!

Hey Cute Stuff! I miss you.
We only had one student show up for college group tonight, so I'm feeling pretty discouraged right now. Just trying to keep things in perspective. This is not about me, right?
Monday is my day off, so Yippee for that! I think when you're a mom, everyday is full to overflowing with love and frustration!
Hey, you're still up! I don't know why, but it brings me comfort to know a friend is out there looking to chat... even if it is online. I love your beautiful blog. It encourages me to get out there and develop some talents :)
okay, so what kind of camera is that? i like the idea of not being able to take a bad picture. i take a ton of bad pictures! but that might be because i don't know what all the buttons are for on our camera!
hey, where is this elfin forest?
okay, that's really freaky that erika was commenting the same time as me. i click "publish comment" and all of a sudden erika's comment appears! hey, erika!
the camera we use is a minolta dimage z1. learning abut a couple buttons has made a big difference. there is a little button with a flower (not to get oo technical, here) that works GREAT for close-up shots.
the elfin forest is in los osos were the forest borders the estuary. from south bay blvd, turn left on santa ysabel, and then right on 16th. there is handicapped access here so its great for strollers. its such a a hidden gem. many locals don't even know about it!we should do a mommy hike one of these days!
yes, definitely let's do a mommy hike with the boys. we are learning some nature vocabulary right now, so we are really enjoying walks (very, very slow walks!).
You've inspired me to hang my camera around my neck and shoot photos all day long!
